Happy National Martini Day!

National Martini Day is celebrated each year on June 19.  This holiday is a day where adults can gather together and enjoy their favorite martini. The exact origin of the Martini is unknown, but the iconic drink has earned a permanent spot in the Hall of Fame of cocktails. The first recipe for a Martini is published in a bartending manual from San Francisco in 1887. However, there is much controversy on whether this was where the Martini originated. In the early 20th century, a bartender from New York, who name was Martini di Arma di Taggia, began serving a cocktail made with vermouth, olive garnish, gin and orange bitters. It became extremely popular in New York, and the rest is history. In celebration of National Martini Day, here are some different ones to try!
