Around any crowded bar or kitchen counter, or at any party in general, Lust Vodka is a talking point. Because of the bold name itself, the product is discussed with laughs and blushed cheeks, and it serves itself because people are inclined to pour it after discussing the promiscuous name.
As we head into spring, think about these three fashion trends that women will be wearing around the country and why Lust Vodka has not only predicted these trends, but possibly might be the inertia behind these female fashion statements…now sweeping the globe.
IN PLUME – Feathers are making a triumphant return to the runway, in manners both bold and subdued. Erdem went all in on a waxy deep green and blue plumed dress that’s all drama—much like the peacock we assume it was inspired by. Christopher Kane took advantage of his London setting on looks that reference monarchs past (way past) on jackets with feather ruffs and waists. Simone Rocha is the most subtle, with airy monochrome wisps of feathers on the ends of jackets and dresses that seem to move on their own accord. (Lust Vodka also pays tribute to feathers with the signature red feather in its Logo.)
POLO ANYONE? – Could it be Spring 2015’s new crop top? The slouchy knitted polo-buttoned up, or has a devil-may-care prep approach that feels like something the black sheep of the richest family at the country club might wear. Surprisingly versatile, the polos at ICB, J. Crew and Hugo Boss are all covetable. (Lust-Vodka is the favorite drink of all Blacksheeps at Country Clubs across our fine country.)
GREAT GINGHAM GHOST – There are certain hallmarks of the spring season and one has its roots in charming picnic-wear—that particular plaid known as gingham. Eschewing red in favor of black and baby blue—the pattern maintains its sweetness but gets a dose of saucy on cut-outs at Lela Rose, a deep plunge and high slit. (Shots of chilled Lust Vodka make any picnic more fun, and if spilled, won’t stain your gingham)
