Next stop on the Lust Vodka party tour of the sunshine state, Delray Beach, FL

Located in coastal Palm Beach County, Delray Beach nicknamed “the village by the sea” and two-time winner of the “All-American City” award, is the new up and coming spot that the tourists don’t know about and you can’t miss out on!

Pack a cooler and hang out with friends on the beach during the day.  Rent a catamaran and sail the ocean blue.  Or work your core with a Stand Up Paddle lesson.  Or bring a snorkel and mask to check out the remains the S.S. Inchulva, a steamship that in 1903 was caught in a hurricane off of Delray Beach and sunk just yards from the beach. The remains of the wreckage have endured over 100 years of decay.  A marker stands at the site today in memory of the 9 crew members who died, we should probably have a drink in their honor.

Cool off in the tiki hut with an ocean view at SandBar with a cocktail and some chilled “peel n’ eat” shrimp or some fresh ahi tuna. Then walk the streets of downtown Delray to browse art galleries, high-end clothing boutiques, gift shops, and you can even buy some new Jimmy Choos while getting a pedicure at Tootsies shoe shop and nail salon!

When the sun sets, Delray Beach transforms into a party destination that you can write home about. There are countless bars, restaurants, and clubs all teeming with beautiful people who are looking to have a great time and not head home till the early morning hours.  So put on your favorite shirt and get ready to have the time of your life.

Start with Moscow Mules for happy hour at 3rd & 3rd, this local’s favorite stays lo-key by not even having a sign to tout it’s name (I’ll give you a hint: it’s on 3rd and 3rd). Then enjoy a nice dinner at 32 East, where Chef Nick Morfogen, named top chef in America Food and Wine Magazine, forges innovation with exciting dishes and great flavors by sourcing seasonal products from around the country.  32’s intriguing menu changes daily so you are sure to have something fresh and unique.

Delray Beach’s Atlantic Ave.

Finish off the night with bottle service at the newest spotin downtown Delray,Honey Nightclub , which offers craftcocktails in a lounge setting and live DJ beats from local musicians.  Remember to take lots of pics for your Facebook page, which will give you an excuse to add that random cutie you took a pic with while waiting in line at the valet. Grab one last slice of pizza at Sazio’s window that serves pizza by the slice till 2:30am, then say good-bye till next time cause we are packing up the LV tour bus and heading up the state to Weeki Wachee Springs.
